1.1 Account Registration & Onboarding

Step 1: Create Your Account

To register for a 3PL SHIP account:

  1. 1.

    Visit app.3plship.com/auth/register

  2. 2.

    Fill out the registration form with:

    • Company Name: Your business name
    • Your Name: Primary contact name
    • Email Address: Business email (this will be your login)
    • Password: Create a strong password (min. 8 characters)
    • Phone Number: Contact phone number
    • Company Type: Select your business type
    • Estimated Monthly Volume: Select your expected order volume
  3. 3.

    Review and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

  4. 4.

    Click "Create Account"

What Happens Next:

  • • You'll receive a verification email within 2 minutes
  • • Check your inbox and spam folder
  • • Click the verification link in the email
  • • Your account will be activated immediately

Email Verification Issues:

  • • If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, click "Resend Verification Email"
  • • Check your spam/junk folder
  • • Whitelist emails from @3plship.com
  • • Contact support if issues persist: support@3plship.com

Step 2: Complete Your Profile

After email verification, you'll be directed to the onboarding wizard:

Business Information:

  • • Legal business name
  • • Tax ID / EIN
  • • Business address
  • • Billing address (if different)
  • • Industry/vertical selection

Warehouse Preferences:

  • • Preferred warehouse location(s)
  • • Special storage requirements (temperature-controlled, etc.)
  • • Hazmat handling needs
  • • FDA compliance requirements (for healthcare/supplements)

Product Information:

  • • Average product size and weight
  • • Product categories (supplements, small molecules, cosmetics, etc.)
  • • Special handling requirements
  • • Kitting/bundling needs

Shipping Preferences:

  • • Preferred carriers
  • • Service levels (ground, 2-day, overnight)
  • • International shipping needs
  • • Custom packaging requirements

Step 3: Account Approval

For Standard Accounts:

  • • Instant approval and access
  • • Start using the platform immediately
  • • Credit check may be performed for net payment terms

For Healthcare/Compliance Accounts:

  • • Requires manual review (24-48 hours)
  • • FDA registration verification
  • • Compliance documentation review
  • • You'll receive an email when approved

Documents You May Need:

  • • Business license
  • • FDA registration (for healthcare products)
  • • Certificate of insurance
  • • Resale certificate (for wholesale)
  • • Product liability insurance

How long does onboarding take?

Most customers complete onboarding in under 30 minutes. Inventory arrival takes 2-5 days.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No! Our integrations are plug-and-play. If you can use Shopify, you can use 3PL SHIP.

What if I need help?

Our support team is available via chat, email, and phone during setup and beyond.
