How Shipping Rates Are Calculated

1

Package Weight & Dimensions

Actual weight vs dimensional weight (length × width × height ÷ 139 for domestic)

Distance from our facility to destination (Zones 1-8 for domestic, international zones vary)

3

Service Level

Ground, expedited, or overnight service with varying costs

4

Special Handling

Temperature-controlled packaging, signature requirements, insurance, etc.

Understanding Shipping Zones

What Are Shipping Zones?

Shipping zones represent the distance packages travel from our FDA-registered facility to the destination. The farther the package travels, the higher the zone number and shipping cost.

Domestic Zone Examples:

  • Zone 1-2: Local area (same state or nearby)
  • Zone 3-4: Regional (adjacent states)
  • Zone 5-6: Cross-country (midwest to coast)
  • Zone 7-8: Furthest distance (coast to coast, including AK/HI)
