Dashboard Overview

The Analytics Dashboard provides real-time visibility into your fulfillment operations with key metrics and trends.

Key Metrics Displayed:

  • Total orders processed (today, week, month, year)
  • Total order value and average order value
  • Order fulfillment rate and on-time delivery percentage
  • Units shipped and inventory turnover rate
  • Top-selling products and trending items
  • Geographic distribution of orders
  • Carrier performance and shipping costs

Customizing Your Dashboard

Personalize your dashboard to focus on the metrics most important to your business:

  1. Click the ⚙️ Settings icon in the top right of the dashboard
  2. Select which widgets to display:
    • Order volume chart
    • Revenue trends
    • Top products table
    • Geographic heat map
    • Carrier performance
    • Inventory alerts
  3. Drag and drop widgets to rearrange layout
  4. Set default date range (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, year)
  5. Choose comparison period (previous period, same period last year)
  6. Click "Save Layout" to preserve your configuration

Analyze data across different time periods:

Standard Order Reports

Daily Order Summary

Orders received/shipped today, pending, cancelled, revenue, avg order value

Weekly Order Report

  • Total orders (last 7 days) with day-by-day breakdown
  • Week-over-week comparison
  • Top products shipped and busiest days
  • Geographic distribution

Monthly Order Report

  • Complete month performance and trends
  • Year-over-year comparison
  • Product performance and customer segments
  • Fulfillment metrics

Custom Order Reports

  1. Go to Analytics → Reports → Create Custom
  2. Select "Order Report"
  3. Choose date range (specific dates, last 7/30/90 days, MTD, YTD, custom)
  4. Select metrics:
    • Order count, Revenue, Average order value
    • Items per order, New vs repeat customers
    • Order source (API, manual, integration)
  5. Add filters (status, category, customer type, shipping, region, value range)
  6. Group by (Day/Week/Month, Product, Customer, Carrier, Channel)
  7. Choose format (PDF visual, CSV data, Excel pivot-ready)
  8. Run now or schedule recurring

9.3 Inventory Reports

Stock Level Reports

Current Inventory Report

Real-time inventory across all SKUs showing:

  • SKU, Product name, Available/Reserved/On hold quantities
  • Total quantity, Unit cost, Total value
  • Location(s) and Last movement date

Formats: CSV, Excel, PDF (10,000 SKU limit per export)

Low Stock Report

  • Products below reorder point
  • Current quantity vs reorder point
  • Recommended order quantity
  • Supplier information and lead time
  • Urgency rating

Out of Stock Report

  • Zero inventory items with last sale date
  • Demand (orders/month) and backorder quantity
  • Estimated restock date

Inventory Movement Reports

Inventory Transaction Log

Complete history showing:

  • Date/time, Transaction type, SKU
  • Quantity change, Before/after quantity
  • Reference (order #, etc.), User, Location

Use cases: Audit trail, discrepancy investigation, usage analysis, theft detection

Inventory Turnover Report

Formula: Turnover Ratio = Cost of Goods Sold / Average Inventory Value

Benchmarks:

  • 4-6 turns/year: Good
  • 6-12 turns/year: Excellent
  • <4 turns/year: Review pricing/marketing
  • >12 turns/year: Consider increasing safety stock

Inventory Valuation Reports

Month-End Valuation (For Accounting)

  • Total inventory units and value
  • Valuation method (FIFO/LIFO/Average)
  • Breakdown by category, location, age
  • Month-over-month change

Aging Report

Shows how long inventory has been in stock:

  • 0-30 days: Fresh inventory
  • 31-60 days: Normal
  • 61-90 days: Watch closely
  • 91-180 days: Slow-moving
  • 180+ days: Dead stock (liquidation candidates)

9.4 Financial Reports

Billing & Invoice Reports

Track 3PL SHIP service fees and billing details.

Monthly Invoice Summary

Complete breakdown of all charges including storage, fulfillment, receiving, special services, and shipping costs

Access Invoices:

  1. Go to Billing → Invoices
  2. View all past invoices by month
  3. Download PDF for accounting
  4. Export CSV for analysis

Cost Analysis

Cost Per Order

Total fulfillment costs divided by order count

Storage Costs

Monthly storage fees by pallet or cubic foot

Shipping Spend

Total shipping costs by carrier and service level

Special Services

Kitting, returns processing, custom services

9.6 Scheduled Reports

Automating Reports

Schedule reports to be generated and emailed automatically.

Setting Up Scheduled Reports:

  1. Create or select existing custom report
  2. Click "Schedule Report"
  3. Choose frequency:
    • Daily (every morning at 6 AM)
    • Weekly (Monday mornings)
    • Monthly (1st of month)
    • Custom schedule
  4. Enter email recipients (comma-separated)
  5. Select format (PDF, CSV, Excel)
  6. Add optional message/notes
  7. Activate schedule

Managing Scheduled Reports

View and manage all scheduled reports:

  1. Go to Analytics → Scheduled Reports
  2. View all active schedules
  3. Edit recipients, frequency, or format
  4. Pause or delete schedules
  5. View delivery history and status
